People in Daraa: The intransigence of terrorist groups and their refusal of peaceful solutions threaten the lives of citizens

Daraa (ST):  In view of the continued intransigence of the remnants of terrorist groups deployed in some areas of Daraa governorate and their thwarting of all the attempts of the Syrian state to establish security and stability through peaceful solutions, the demands of the people throughout the governorate are mounting for the Syrian Arab Army to end any terrorist presence in Daraa so that they can return to their  normal lives and their agricultural and commercial activities that started in 2018.

Ending the presence of terrorist groups and wanted persons in some neighborhoods of the southern and southeastern city of Daraa means the return of safety to all of the city.

Ms. Umm Nawras, a resident of Daraa, indicated in an interview with a news reporter that ending the presence of terrorist groups and wanted persons in some neighborhoods of the southern and southeastern city of Daraa means the return of safety to all of the city, and consequently the return of thousands of citizens from Daraa al-Balad and the dam road to their homes, noting that the displacement movement of people from those areas is still continuing to escape the practices of the remnants of the terrorists there.

Yesterday, the army units opened the Al-Saraya crossing linking the areas of Daraa Al-Balad and Al-Mahatta in front of the people who want to leave the terrorist-controlled areas.

Abu Watan ( A resident in Daraa) points out that the abnormal situation in Daraa al-Balad, the dam road and the camp affected the course of life and stopped some commercial activities, adding that the intransigence of the terrorists and their rejection of all the initiatives presented by the state for more than a month to hand over their weapons exposes their association with Western agendas trying to drag the entire province into military action that puts the lives of citizens at risk.
