Pelosi: US administration must re-evaluate relationship with Saudi Arabia

The US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stressed that the United States must re-evaluate its relationship with Saudi Arabia in the light of an intelligence report that has confirmed the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s approval of the crime of assassinating Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Reuters quoted Pelosi as saying that “the House Democrats will introduce a legislation that honors Khashoggi’s life of work through imposing sanctions on those who commit gross violations against journalists.”

She added that “Saudi Arabia needs to know that the world is watching its disturbing actions and that we will hold it accountable.”
