Pederson & Khaji review the latest developments of the situation in Syria

Tehran (ST): The UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy Geir Pederson reviewed with Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for special political affairs Ali Asghar Khaji the latest developments of the situation in Syria.

The Media Department at the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that the two sides also discussed the forthcoming meeting of the Constitution Committee and the latest developments of the Astana Process.

The two sides expressed deep concern about the recent escalation of the practices of the terrorist groups and underlined the importance of pressing ahead with combating terrorism.
