Pedersen: 2nd round of mini committee meetings starts on Nov.25th

The UN Special envoy to Syria Geir  Pedersen said that the debates during the first round of the Mini-Committee for Discussing the Constitution were professional, staring that the forthcoming round will start on November 25th.

In a press conference he held in Geneva, Pederson said that the committee discussed important questions, especially the unity of Syria, its independence and sovereignty in addition to the continuity of combatting terrorism. 

He expressed hope that the start of the committee’s work would contribute to finding a political solution to the crisis of Syria that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people.
