Patriarchate of Antioch and All East for the Melkite Catholic strongly condemns attack on Military Academy in Homs

Damascus – The Patriarchate of Antioch and All East for the Melkite Catholic has condemned in the strongest terms the flagrant terrorist attack that targeted the Military Academy in Homs and resulted in many human casualties.

“We condemn this criminal act which targeted the security of our beloved the homeland,”  the patriarchate said in a statement on Saturday, extending deepest condolences to the Syrian Army, the families of the martyrs and all the Syrian people on this loss.

The statement clarified that it will hold prayers and holy masses on Sunday at the Our Lady of Nayah Cathedral in Damascus for the rest of the souls of the martyrs and for the recovery of the wounded.
