Patriarch John X Yazigi presides over prayers of thanksgiving and sunset in Kfarbham in Hama countryside

Hama (ST): The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Patriarch John X Yazigi, presided over the thanksgiving prayer at St Elias Church and the sunset prayer in the St. George Church in the town of Kfarbham in Hama countryside, as part of his pastoral visits to all parts of the Antioch See.

Archbishop Yazigi stressed the constants of the Antioch Church to live in coexistence with all components of the homeland and to participate hand in hand with it in the reconstruction of Syria.

He concluded his speech with the apostolic blessing for the people of Kfarbham and its surrounding towns and villages, and by praying for peace in Syria.

Metropolitan Nicholas Baalbaki, Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Hama and its dependencies for the Greek Orthodox and all the heads of Christian denominations in the province of Hama, participated in the prayer.

The religious and civil activities of the town of Kfarbham had gathered in the streets and squares of the town to receive Archbishop Youhanna X and the accompanying delegation.
