Patriarch Al-Absi, Syrian Charge de Affairs in Budapest discuss developments in Syria

Patriarch Yousef Al-Absi of Antioch and the East for the Greek Malkite Catholics held a meeting on Saturday with the Syrian Charge d Affairs in Budapest Bashar Samara and discussed with him the latest developments in Syria.

Patriarch Al-Absi also made contacts, from his residence place in Budapest,  with the Lebanese President Michel Aoun and  the new Lebanese Prime Minister Najeeb Miqati, congratulating them on forming the new Lebanese government. He expressed hope that the new government will succeed in extrapolating Lebanon out of the current crisis which has  continued for more than a year.
