Parties Seeking Interfere in Syria’s Internal Affairs Encourage Terrorism, Killing, Destruction in the Country

DAMASCUS, (ST)- All who are seeking interference in Syria’s internal affairs through military means are actually encouraging terrorism, killing and destruction in Syria, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal al-Mikdad has stressed.

In a statement to “al-Manar” TV Channel on Thursday, al-Mikdad said “the Israeli interests are behind all what is going on in Syria,” clarifying that the former American administration and Europe have supported mercenaries and terrorists in Syria and enabled them to commit crimes against the Syrian people to serve the Israeli interests.”

Al-Mikdad went on to say that “the so-called “Free Army” isn’t different from Daesh terrorist organization or al-Qaeda or any other terror group.”

According to the deputy minister, the Russian friends want to push Syria’s political process forward and they won’t interfere in this mission because it should be accomplished by the Syrians themselves through inking their own constitution starting from their faith in the freedom and the right of the Syrian people to draw up their present and future.
