Participants in the Arab National Conference call for lifting the siege on Syria

The 32nd session of the Arab National Conference kicked off today in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the presence of 180 personalities from Arab countries.

During the opening, speeches were delivered by a number of participants in the conference, all of which emphasized support for the restoration of relations between Syria and the Arab countries, the rejection of the American occupation of its lands and the demand for breaking the Western siege on it, in addition to supporting the option of resistance in the region, and the emphasis on continuing to stand by the Palestinian people and their just cause.

The Secretary-General of the conference, Hamdeen Sabahi, said: “By choosing Jenin as the title of the conference, we choose to align ourselves with the ability of this nation and belong to its greatest resistance and adherence to its historical rights.”

Sabahi affirmed that the nation will not abandon the Palestinian cause because it is a humanitarian issue, and we will fight for it.

Sabahi stressed standing with Syria in the face of the aggression and the siege on it, and said: “We are with Syria because we want it to be healthy, chaste, and impenetrable, to preserve its independence and Arabism.”

In his turn, the former Secretary-General of the Arab National Conference, Maan Bashour, said: “The resistance is the guarantee of national and national independence.”

For his part, the head of the General Arab Conference, Khaled Al-Sufyani, affirmed that the conference is working to embody joint action through dialogue between its components, adding: We are deeply involved in the cause of Palestine and work for its liberation.”

 The official of Arab and international relations in Hezbollah, Ammar al-Musawi, affirmed that the resistance is the first option in working to restore rights, condemning the continuation of the American-Israeli aggression against Syria, and welcoming at the same time its return to the Arab League.

Al-Musawi called for confronting the Western blockade imposed on Syria and breaking its tools.

For his part, the official of international relations in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Maher Al-Taher, confirmed that the Israeli enemy will not be able to destroy the will of the resistance, and today it is facing a new Palestinian generation.

Al-Taher explained that the Palestinian people are establishing a stage based on building a national project based on liberating every atom of the soil of Palestine.
