Participants in Agritex: The exhibition is an opportunity for all those interested in the agricultural sector to exchange knowledge

Damascus (ST): Agritex International Exhibition for Agricultural and Veterinary Supplies on the Fairgrounds of Damascus is an opportunity for all those interested in the agricultural sector to expand knowledge, trade exchange and experiences between manufacturers and importers.

A number of visitors underlined the importance of the exhibition represented in the possibility of companies displaying their agricultural products to benefit from them locally. Eng. Alaa Hassan stated that he visited the exhibition to get acquainted with some equipment and tools that are useful for him in his specialization represented in the constructional aspect of poultry farming, explaining that the quality of local products that he monitored in the exhibition matched the products of international and imported companies and their prices are acceptable.

Dr. Mohammad Al-Masalma, a scientific advisor in a company for the manufacture of veterinary medicines, pointed out that the company seeks, through participation in the exhibition, to present new products that are comparable to foreign products, as it presented a set of offers that support the newly graduated veterinarian and breeder.

Director-General of the General Poultry Corporation, Eng. Siraj Khedir, stated that the exhibition is important for the public and private sectors to exchange opinions, knowledge, experiences and knowledge of what is new in the world of agriculture.

In turn, the Director of Veterinary Medicine at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Dr. Ziyad Nammour, said that the veterinary medicine sector has recently become a more investment sector, as there was an investment of large capitals in the establishment of veterinary drug laboratories and production lines with different pharmaceutical forms.
