Paroubek: America does not want to end the Ukrainian crisis, and this is not in Europe’s interest
Prague (ST): Former Czech Prime Minister Yerje Paroubek confirmed that the US administration does not want to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis in Ukraine, and that it is in its interest to prolong it.
In an interview with the Parliamentary Papers website today, he indicated that the peace initiative put forward by China represents an opportunity to start serious talks to reach a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis, stressing that it is in Europe’s interest to end this war, and not to wait for the United States, which has no interest in stopping it.
He pointed out that what is happening now within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) confirms the urgent need to conduct reforms in it, as it is no longer acceptable that one country is the one that decides what the alliance must do.
