Parliamentary elections postponed until July over coronavirus

President Bashar al-Assad issued the decree No. 121 for the year 2020 that provides for postponing the date of Parliamentary elections untill July, 19, 2020 as a precautionary step against the spread of coronavirus. 
 
The elections were schedualed to be held on May, 20, 2020.
 
On March 14, President al-Assad issued decree no. 86 for the year 2020  on postponing the elections of the parliament scheduled on April 13, 2020 in accordance with the decree no. 76 for 2020 until May 20, 2020.
