DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Syrian parliament [People’s Assembly” reiterated on Monday that the Correctionist Movement which was led by the Late President Hafez al-Assad was a turning point in Syria’s modern history and realized great achievements in political, economic, social, scientific and cultural fields.
It said in a statement released on the occasion of the 50 anniversary of the correctionist movement that the movement turned Syria from instability in political life to stability, progress and trust in the ability of the Syrian people to reach the goals that enhanced Syria’s national role which goes in line with its Arab and regional strategic position.
“The movement reinvigorated economic growth and facilitated investments as well as improved living conditions of the Syrians,” the statement reads.
It referred to the fact that the achievements of the Syrian army are the result of hard working for many years.
