Palestinians on Nakba Anniversary: “Repatriation” is a legal right that does not expire by statute of limitations

The Palestinian factions and organizations have affirmed that the “return” is a legitimate and sacred right that does not expire by statute of limitations, stressing that they will continue to confront the Israeli occupation plans aimed to undermine the refugee issue.

Wafa Agency stated that the participants in two rallies held in the cities of Jenin and Tulkarem to commemorate the Nakba 75th Anniversary assured that the return is a legal and sacred right that does not expire by statute of limitations, stressing adherence to it and to the inalienable national rights of Palestinian people, despite of the incessant crimes of the occupation in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the attempts to steal the Palestinian heritage and target all Palestinian components.

Today, the United Nations will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Palestinians’ Nakba for the first time since 1948, through a resolution adopted by the General Assembly at the end of last November, which stipulated that the 15th of May  of every year be considered a day to commemorate Nakba.
