Palestinian Resistance: The occupation’s continuous closure of Rafah crossing portends a humanitarian disaster in Gaza Strip

The Palestinian resistance has stressed that the Israeli occupation insists to continue its war of genocide, starvation and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip through keeping Rafah crossing closed for the fifth day in a raw.

In a statement on Saturday, the resistance said that continuing to close the crossing impedes the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people and obstruct the transfer of wounded persons to receive medical treatment outside the strip which portends a humanitarian disaster and exacerbates famine in all parts of Gaza Strip.

The resistance called on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to urgently act as to stop this humanitarian disaster in the light of the escalating Zionist criminal attack on Rafah and force the occupation to halt its aggression, withdraw from Rafah crossing and reopen it to facilitate the delivery of urgent relief and medical supplies to the Palestinian people.
