Palestinian resistance factions in Damascus stress that resistance is the only way to liberate the land

Damascus, (ST) – Palestinian resistance fanctions confirmed that the (Al-Aqsa Flood) operation proved that resistance is the only way to liberate the land and restore Palestinian rights. They called on the people of the Arab and Islamic nations to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people by all means.

This came during a press conference for the meeting of the General Secretaries and representatives of the Palestinian resistance factions, held on Wednesday at the Palestinian National Council in Damascus, which addressed the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood.

The Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Command, Dr. Talal Naji said that the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood is a qualitative process that will result in important and historical results for the Palestinian issue, as it demonstrated the impotence of the Zionist entity and confirmed that resistance is the only way to liberate the land and restore rights.

For his part, the leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Abdul Aziz Al-Minawi indicated that the Al-Aqsa flood operation came in response to the ongoing attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause by killing, displacing, capturing and torturing the Palestinian people. He indicated that the battle demonstrated the ability of the Palestinian people to think and make the right decision until the land is liberated and rights are restored. .

In turn, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Dr. Muhammad Qais, stated that what the Palestinian resistance did in the Al-Aqsa flood  operation was a great work that would result in great gains at all levels. He stressed the ability of the Palestinian people to liberate the land and defeat the occupying entity.

Secretary-General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, Khaled Abdel Majeed confirmed that the conference in Damascus, the beating heart of Arabism, came to emphasize the interconnection between countries and the axis of resistance. He called on the people of the Arab and Islamic nations to stand in solidarity and rally by all means to what is happening in occupied Palestine.

In turn, Secretary General of the Fatah Intifada Movement, Ziad Al-Saghir pointed out that this heroic battle is the beginning of the defeat of this enemy and its departure from the occupied land. He called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene immediately to prevent the crimes of the occupation and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The Director of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ambassador Anwar Abdel Hadi stressed the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves, their land, and their sanctities.

Moatasem Hamada, a member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine denounced the blindness of Washington and the European Union countries to the crimes of genocide and scorched earth committed by the occupying entity against the people of Gaza Strip, targeting civilian neighborhoods, places of worship, hospitals, humanitarian service centers, and commercial markets, and using planes, military boats, artillery, and all killing tools.

At the end of the conference, a solidarity event with the families in Palestine was announced next Friday in Arnous Square.
