Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian resistance factions affirmed that the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation this dawn in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians, wounded tens others and led to missing persons, is a war crime that confirms the continuation of the Israeli occupation’s war of extermination.
The factions called on the international community to break its silence and stop the Israeli aggression.
Hamas movement on Tuesday said in a statement: The occupation government deliberately commits horrific massacres against the Palestinian people, disregarding international and humanitarian law and resolutions. It called for stopping the aggression, which is being carried out with full cover from the US administration, a partner in the aggression.
The movement added: In the light of these repeated brutal massacres against civilians and displaced persons in tents, schools and shelters, the international community, the United Nations and all political, humanitarian and judicial institutions are required to assume their responsibility to stop this holocaust that has been ongoing for 11 months.
The movement added that these institutions are also required to work for stopping this brutal aggression, and take the necessary measures to bring the Zionist war criminals to the International Criminal Court and hold them accountable for these heinous crimes.
For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement stressed that the massacre committed by the occupation in the Al-Mawasi area is a new war crime for which the US administration bears responsibility, as it supplies the Nazi entity with weapons and provides it with protection to continue its crimes.
The movement pointed out that the failure of international institutions, primarily the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to expedite their procedures to issue arrest warrants against war criminals in the entity, foremost of whom is the Prime Minister of the occupation Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of War Yoav Galant, is causing the occupation to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.
In turn, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the massacre noting that it confirms once again the fascism of the occupation and its insistence on committing more crimes of genocide to terrorize the Palestinian people, starve them, and destroy their homes and properties, thinking that this will force them to leave their lands.
The Front pointed out that the delay of the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court in issuing arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Galant and the escape of occupation officials from accountability and punishment encourages them to continue the crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people, disregarding international law and the Charter of Human Rights.
