Palestinian resistance calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the occupation’s crimes against Palestinian detainees

Occupied Al-Quds,(ST)- The Palestinian resistance movement “Hamas” called on the international community to intervene immediately as to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation against prisoners and to form international committees to enter its detention centers, investigate the violations and hold perpetrators accountable.
Hamas said in a statement today: The horrific testimonies given by the released prisoners, the apparent traces of brutal practices on their bodies and the condition in which the two recently released prisoners, journalist Muaz Amarneh and the athlete Muazzaz Abayat, appeared, confirm the extent of the serious violations and heinous crimes committed in detention centers.
Hamas indicated that what Abayat mentioned about the participation of the Israeli terrorist “Ben Gvir” in the brutal torture operations himself, confirms the level of fascism of the occupation authorities.
It added that what the prisoners are exposed to is many times greater than the brutality to which the detainees in the “Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib” prisons were exposed, in violation of all international laws and agreements related to prisoners.
It said that the Palestinian people will continue to support the prisoners until they are liberated and until the occupation’s aggressiveness ends.
