The Palestinian Prisoners Club has warned of the deteriorating health condition of the detainee in the Israeli jails Eyad Hreibat, due to the refusal of the Israeli occupation authorities to provide necessary treatment to him, calling on the international institutions to pressure the occupation to stop its deliberate medical negligence policy which has led to the martyrdom of tens of sick Palestinian prisoners.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Club said that Hreibat, 39, is detained in Rimon prison and is in need of urgent surgery as he suffers from pain in the belly due to a surgery he underwent last year.
The Club pointed out that the occupation authorities prevent Hreibat from undergoing the surgery although he badly needs it.
According to the Club, Hreibat, who was detained in 2002, also suffers from a neurological disease that has affected his ability to move.
