Palestinian Prisoners Affairs warns of the critical health condition of prisoners Adnan and Amarneh

Occupied Al-Quds- (ST)- The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission warned on Wednesday of the deteriorating health condition of the hunger-striking prisoners Kheder Adnan and Majd Amarneh.

The Commission indicated in a statement that the prisoner, Kheder Adnan, 44 years, continues with his open hunger strike for the 81st day, despite the deterioration of his health condition.

Adnan suffers from weight loss, fatigue, and the inability to concentrate.

The Commission indicated that prisoner Majd Amarneh, 51 years, who has been detained since February 2022, continues with his hunger strike for the third day, although he is blind and suffers from several health problems.

The prisoner Adnan has been detained since the 5th last February, and he declared his hunger strike from the moment of his detention. He was detained 14 times.

Adnan spent a total of eight years in the occupation prisons, during which he went through four hunger strikes, the first was in 2004, the second in 2012, the third in 2015 and the fourth in 2018.
