Palestinian Prisoner’s Club warns about the deterioration of the health condition of the sick prisoner Hussien Masalmeh

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, ( ST)_The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club has warned about the deterioration of the health condition of the sick prisoner Hussien Masalmeh because of the Israeli occupation authorities’ suppressive practices, mainly deliberated medical negligence.

The club said in a statement issued on Tuesday that the prisoner Masalmeh has been arrested since 2002 and suffers from a difficult health condition.

It appealed to the international community and the International Committee of the Red Cross to fulfill their duties and to  force Israel to release the prisoners as the number of Coronavirus infections increases inside the Israeli jails.

The Palestinian prisoners are subjected to ill-treatment, deliberate medical negligence and physical and verbal abuse, media reports affirm.

There are 4,600 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails,  including 1,800 sick prisoners who are in need of sustained medical attention.
