Palestinian prisoner in Israeli occupation jails Raed Rayan continues with his open-ended hunger strike for the 94th consecutive day in protest against the occupation’s aggressive practices towards the prisoners.
WAFA News Agency reported on Saturday that prisoner Rayan, 27, is from the town of Beit Daqou, northwest of occupied Al-Quds. He suffers from sharp loss of weight, lack of fluids, vitamins and proteins, dizziness and vomiting and he can’t move except with the help of a wheelchair. His health condition continues to deteriorate while the occupation keeps refusing to release him or transfer him to the hospital.
On his part, Khalil Awawdeh, 40, resumed his hunger strike since Saturday after the occupation reversed a decision to release him.
Awawdeh suspended his 111-day hunger strike on June 21 after the occupation promised to release him, but the occupation, as usual, broke the promise and refused to release him.
