Palestinian prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash enters the stage of extreme danger

On January 2nd, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission warned that the prisoner Hisham Abu Hawash, who is still on an  open hunger strike for the 139th day in protest against the crimes of the Israeli occupation, has entered a stage of extreme danger.

The Commission’s spokesman, Hassan Abd Rabbo, told Wafa Agency that the prisonerAbu Hawash has entered the stage of extreme danger, as he is in an intermittent coma and suffers from problems in the heart muscle and muscle atrophy, and may enter a critical stage at any time.

Abed Rabbo indicated that communications are continuing with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the International Committee of the Red Cross to pressure the occupation to release the prisoner Abu Hawash and save his life.
