Palestinian Prisoner Club: The Crimes of the occupation against the detainees of Gaza are crimes against humanity and require immediate accountability

The Palestinian Prisoner Club confirmed that the horrific crimes that are unfolding progressively against Gaza detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons, specifically in the “Sadeh Timan” detention center, is yet another documented evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the light of the continued enforced disappearance of them.

The club added in a statement yesterday quoted by WAFA agency:“since the beginning of the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the detention center” Sadeh Timan ” has been a prominent address for the unprecedented intensity of torture, especially that most of the crimes revealed were associated with it, the latest of which are shocking details about medical crimes inflicted upon the sick and wounded detainees, including the amputation of the limbs of two detainees due to injuries caused by the continuous restrictions against them, where the sick detainees along with constant limb restraints remain blindfolded.

In a related context, the club drew attention to the escalation of the occupation’s systematic arrests of Palestinian women in the West Bank since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, which included minors, students, wives of detainees and martyrs, elderly mothers and nursing mothers.

The Club reiterated its demand that all international institutions assume their responsibilities for the crimes committed by the occupation against detainees, which constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian norms and laws, stressing that monitoring crimes is no longer sufficient in view of the continuing massacres, but that these crimes must be stopped immediately and the criminals responsible for them should be held accountable.
