Palestinian Presidency: Palestine has the right to obtain full membership in the United Nations General Assembly

Occupied Al-Quds,( ST)- The Palestinian presidency condemned the statements of the United States representative to the United Nations regarding full membership of the State of Palestine. It stressed that the stability of Palestine is the only gateway that leads to stability in the region and the world.

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, Presidential spokesman clarified in a statement on Wednesday, reported by Wafa News Agency, that the State of Palestine obtained membership in the United Nations General Assembly as an observer in 2012, by an overwhelming majority, and has the right to obtain full membership.

He stressed that the establishment of the Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital is the only way to achieve Security and stability in the region.

Abu Rudeineh indicated that the American administration is still adopting Israeli positions and its continued aggression against the occupied Palestinian territories in Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank including Al-Quds, which has led to tens of thousands of martyrs and hundreds of thousands of wounded which makes the United States directly responsible for the occupation policies that violate all resolutions of International legitimacy.
