Palestinian Premier: Israeli occupation’s crimes continue due to absence of international accountability

Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people continue, due to the absence of international accountability for Israeli war criminals and their impunity.

In a statement reported by Wafa Agency, Shtayyeh condemned the crime committed by the occupation forces this morning in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, which resulted in the death of 3 Palestinians. He noted that the occupation continues to shed the blood of the Palestinian people and violate international laws and decisions amid the silence of the international community.

In turn, President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, indicated that the occupation authorities are waging a war of genocide against the Palestinian people. He called on the International Criminal Court to open an international investigation, and to bring the Prime Minister of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the rest of the occupation officials to trial as war criminals.

Fattouh strongly criticized the silence of the international community and its just weak condemnation statements that do not reflect the scale of the tragedy and the crimes committed by the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinian people.
