Palestinian PM condemns Israel’s killing of two young Palestinians, calls for international protection

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh today condemned the Israeli occupation’s killing of two young Palestinians and called on the countries that voted in favor of requesting a legal advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination to take immediate measures to provide protection for the Palestinian people.

The Prime Minister’s call came following a new crime by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Kufr Dan, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, which resulted in the killing of two young men, Mohammad Samer Hoshieh and Fouad Mahmoud Abed.

He said that this crime reflects the thinking and behavior of the perpetrators, who continue their crimes without fear of being held accountable or punished, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions that may result from the daily killings and incursions, according to WAFA News Agency.

Palestinian Foreign Ministry describes Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians as organized terrorism

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also condemned Israel’s killing of the two young Palestinians and the demolition of two houses in the town of Kufr Dan, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, describing them as organized terrorism.

In a press statement, the Foreign Ministry held the Israeli occupation entity fully and directly responsible for the consequences of its actions, adding that the double international standards constitute an umbrella for the Israeli occupation to persist in the gradual annexation of the occupied West Bank, including East Al-Quds, and to undermine any opportunity to establish the Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967, lines with Al-Quds as its capital.
