Palestinian Official: Syria’s Great Role in Fighting Terrorism Deepens Palestinians’ Confidence in Victory over Zionist Enemy

RAMALLAH- Abbas Zaki, Member of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah Movement, has stressed that the great role played by the Syrian leadership, army and people in confronting terrorism deepens the Palestinians’ confidence in victory over the Zionist enemy whatever difficulties may come.

Interviewed by the Syrian TV yesterday, Zaki said the barbaric Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip aims to bury the Palestinian cause, pointing out that the battle against the Zionist entity is that of existence.

He called for holding an international conference to define terrorism, as occupation is one of terrorism forms, affirming that no return to negotiations with a barbaric entity that is shedding the blood of civilians in Gaza.

Zaki urged opening all crossings between the West Bank and Gaza to help the Palestinians who suffer shortage of water, electricity and food and called for ending the Zionist aggression and lifting the siege on the Palestinian people.

He also urged adherence to Palestinian unity and reconciliation to face the Israeli schemes and sedition attempts.

He criticized countries of what is called “Arab Moderation” for being close allies to the Zionist entity, the enemy of the Arab and Islamic nations, which dominates the region’s resources and keeps creating sedition among the Arabs.
