Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Education called on international human rights and humanitarian organizations to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its violations and attacks on educational institutions in occupied Palestine.
The ministry said in a statement on Wednesday, reported by Wafa News Agency that, the occupation forces continue their attacks on Palestinian schools, the most recent was when they stormed Al-Shabat (Young Women)’s Secondary School in the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), during school hours, arrested its Head master and an administrative employee.
The ministry indicated that, since the beginning of the school year, the occupation forces have escalated their attacks on students and children, impeding their arrival to school, prosecuting and arresting them in contravention of the system of values, rights and norms.
