Palestinian Journalists: The Occupation Committed Horrific Massacre Against Journalists in the World

Occupied Al-Quds,(ST)- The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate confirmed that the Israeli occupation committed the largest and most horrific massacre against the press in  world history   during the year of the war of extermination it has been waging against the Palestinian people since October 7, 2023.

The Syndicate clarified in a report that the occupation committed 1639 crimes against journalists and media institutions, especially in Gaza Strip including the martyrdom of 167 journalists and workers in the Strip, in addition to the injury of 357 journalists and the arrest of 125 others, as well as the destruction of 73 media institutions in the Strip and the closure of 27 others in the occupied West Bank.

The Syndicate said:” Those seeking truth from fellow journalists paid the price for the message of truth and for trying to  convey it to the world, and the Israeli occupation carried out the largest massacre of assassinations against them to bury the truth and its witnesses, and the families of journalists paid a heavy price as a result of their sons’ profession, as 514 members of journalists’ families were martyred in Gaza as a result of missiles bombing journalists’ homes and places of displacement.”

The Syndicate called on the international community and concerned institutions to stop the Israeli aggression and hold its officials accountable for their crimes against the Palestinian people.
