Palestinian Health Ministry: The health system in Gaza Strip has completely collapsed due to the Israeli aggression

The health system in Gaza Strip has completely collapsed as a result of the Israeli aggression, and the health situation there is extremely awful, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

According to Palestinian media outlets, the health ministry said that the destruction caused by the Israeli occupation aggression in Gaza will gradually be exposed during the days of the temporary truce, particularly in the health sector.

The ministry clarified that the hospitals in the south of Gaza Strip are basically collapsed and they don’t have ability to provide service to the huge number of patients and injured people who were evacuated from the north of Gaza, which adds massive pressure on the health system.

The ministry urged the international community and international organizations to join efforts as to find a better mechanism for supporting the health system in Gaza and help it resort its vital tasks in saving the lives of the wounded and to deliver enough medical assistance that meet the needs of the critical health conditions and to allow access to fuel delivery and evacuate the wounded to specialized hospitals outside Gaza Strip.
