Palestinian Health Ministry: Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip reaches 24,927

The number of the victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip has surpassed 24,900 martyrs, 62,300 wounded.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 14 massacres against families in Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 165 Palestinians and wounding 280 others, which raises the number of victims since the occupation began its aggression against the Strip on the 7th of last October to 24,927 martyrs and 62,388 wounded. The ministry noted that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The Ministry affirmed that the occupation has targeted the health system since the beginning of its aggression against Gaza Strip, and that the aid that enters does not meet basic health needs, noting that medical personnel are trying to do their utmost as to relieve as many wounded and sick as possible.

The Ministry warned of the continued spread of epidemics and smallpox in Gaza Strip, and of the possibility of a cholera epidemic spreading among displaced children in Rafah.
