Palestinian Foreign Ministry warns against the occupation committing a major crime against Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against the Israeli occupation committing a major crime against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock, stressing that harming them could explode the situation in the entire region.

The ministry said in a statement today, reported by the Wafa Agency: This is not the first time that Zionist organizations have incited against Al-Aqsa Mosque, as this is constantly being promoted in preparation for the establishment of the “alleged temple” in place of the Dome of the Rock after its destruction.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deep concern about the seriousness of this ongoing incitement, especially since it is accompanied by the escalation of settlers’ storming of the mosque under the protection of the occupation forces, and the performance of provocative rituals in the courtyards of the mosque in an unprecedented manner, in addition to targeting the occupied city of Jerusalem with all its Islamic and Christian sanctities, which, if it happens, threatens to explode the situation in the entire region.

The ministry stressed that the failure of the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards what the Palestinian people and their sanctities are being subjected to encourages the Israeli occupation to escalate its aggression and crimes and target these sanctities, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.
