Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The occupation takes advantage of the absence of international protection for the Palestinians to impose the worst collective punishment on them

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Israeli occupation imposes comprehensive collective punishment on Gaza Strip and the West Bank, taking advantage of the absence of international protection for the Palestinian people, who have been subjected to continuous aggression since October 7th.

The Foreign Ministry added in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency: At a time when Gaza Strip is being subjected, for the twentieth day  in a raw, to the most horrific massacres against the Palestinians and their homes, the occupation forces continue to escalate their invasion of Palestinian cities, towns, and camps, and continue to close the West Bank, turning it into a large prison, dismembering it, and paralyzing movement there.
The settlers also continue their attacks against the Palestinians, their homes, land, and trees, under the protection of the occupation forces, the ministry pointed out.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that the Palestinian people are still a victim of the occupation and international double standards, stressing that what is required now and more than ever is urgent international action to do justice to the Palestinian people and provide protection for them through courageous and binding international initiatives and measures that end the Israeli aggression and guarantee the Palestinians their full human rights and needs in a sustainable manner through the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions and drawing up a road map that leads to ending the Israeli occupation within a specific time frame.
