Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The occupation crimes in the West Bank are part of the war of extermination against the Palestinian people

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the crimes of the Israeli settlers in the West Bank are an extension of the war of extermination that the Israeli occupation has been waging for the 395th day on the Gaza Strip.

It noted that the failure of the international community to stop the war encourages the occupation to escalate its terrorism in the West Bank.

According to Wafa News Agency, the Ministry condemned today the storming of  the city of Al-Bireh by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces at dawn and their burning of homes and a number of cars.

It indicated that the occupation is working to transfer its fascist experience in the Strip and apply it in the West Bank and accelerate the cycle of its annexation and displacement of the Bank’ people.

The Ministry pointed out to the resounding collapse of humanity in the face of the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the horrific massacres against them gives the settlers the impression of providing cover to commit more crimes.

It stressed that it will continue to work at all levels to expose the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.

The Ministry called on the United Nations to respect its obligations and the humanitarian principles that it claims to be keen on and translate them into practical steps to pressure the occupation to comply with the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly issued last September, which adopted the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on ending the occupation within 12 months.
