Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The escalation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza is an opportunity to deepen colonialism

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the escalation of the Israeli occupation’ aggression on Gaza Strip provides the occupation with the opportunity to deepen colonization and  continue the crimes of gradual, declared and undeclared annexation of the West Bank, including Al-Quds.

The Ministry stated today: “The occupation government’ disregard for all international resolutions and appeals to stop the aggression, requires issuing binding UN resolutions that force the occupation to submit to the international will for peace and that put an end to the occupation’s continued impunity from accountability and punishment and to force it to implement and ensure the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions on the Palestinian issue.

The Ministry condemned the occupation’s last night invasion of Jenin and its camp in the West Bank, which led to martyrs and injuries and widespread leveling of infrastructure and streets, random mass detentions, and intimidation of Palestinians.

The Ministry considered this act as to fall within the framework of striking the foundations of the Palestinian presence on its land and sabotaging its already weak economies.

It also condemned the escalation in attacks by Israeli settler organizations on Palestinians, their towns, homes and properties.
