Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Smotrich’s statements are racist and colonial

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government minister Bezalel Smotrich’s continuous statements on deepening settlement in Palestine, stressing that these statement expansion activities are racist colonialism and disregard for international resolutions that confirm the illegality of settlement building activities and demand their cessation.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement on Monday reported by Wafa Agency, that ending the occupation and granting the Palestinian people their just and legitimate national rights, foremost of which is establishing  their own state, is the only way to achieve security and stability in the entire region.

The statement called for imposing international sanctions on the occupation officials who are proud of their violations of international law, who incite the spread of more violence and chaos, and provide protection for terrorist settler gangs.
