Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israeli violations of Palestinian holy shrines come within the framework of implementing “Deal of the Century”

OCCUPIED Al-QUDS, (ST)- The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has stressed that the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation authorities and the Israeli settlers against Palestinian holy shrines, particularly al-Aqsa Mosque, come within the framework of implementing the so-called “Deal of the Century” which aims at liquidating the Palestinian cause.

In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said that the Israeli settlers’ provocative acts of storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces are a flagrant violation of the mosque’s sanctity.

 Such provocations aim at imposing a fait accompli in order to judaize and control  the Temple Mount ( Al-Aqsa Compound), the ministry added.

It called for providing international protection to the Palestinian people and to their holy shrines against the occupation’s violations.
