Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Israel should be held accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity in occupied Palestine

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has stressed that the Israeli occupation’s aggressive practices towards the Palestinian people amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity for which Israel should be held accountable by the international law.

In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that the occupation forces as well as the Israeli settler gangs continue with their attacks on the Palestinians in order to seize their lands.

Most recent on these attacks is the settlers’ razing of 50 dunums of Palestinian land south of the West Bank city of Nablus with the aim of expanding the occupation’s settlement building activities, the ministry said.

The ministry reiterated that the bloody scene imposed by the occupation authorities on the daily life of the Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds and the rest of the West Bank cities and in Gaza Strip is considered a real test for the credibility of the international stances towards the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The ministry called on the international community to take decisive measures to stop the occupation crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories.
