Palestinian Foreign Ministry invites members of the Security Council to visit the occupied territory to witness the suffering of the Palestinians

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on members of the Security Council and all international organizations to visit the Occupied Palestinian Territory to see the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation in terms of settlement and persecution.

In a statement on Tuesday, carried by Wafa News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the settlers’ crimes against the Palestinians, their land, properties, homes, and sanctities, the most recent of which was yesterday’s setting fire to crops, trees, and houses in the towns of Barqa, north of Nablus, and Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah. “These attacks are witnessing a dangerous and rapid escalation in violence in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and all of the West Bank’s areas under the protection of the occupation forces”, the statement added.

The Foreign Ministry expressed its deep dissatisfaction with the weakness of international reactions to these crimes and their failure to rise to the level of the suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation.

The ministry called for real pressure on the occupation authorities to stop their illegal practices and force them to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy.

Occupation forces attack Palestinian students and teachers south of Nablus

Earlier on, a number of Palestinian students and teachers were injured on Tuesday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces attacking them in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.

Raja Awwad, the principal of Omar Bin Al-Khattab Basic School for Boys in the town, told Wafa News Agency that the occupation forces fired stun grenades and poisonous gas at the students and teachers as they were leaving the school, which resulted in a number of them suffocating.

Awwad indicated that the occupation forces have been trying for a month to obstruct the educational process in the school by terrorizing the students, pursuing them, and attempting to storm into the school more than once.
