Palestinian Foreign Ministry: International community’s failure to stop the occupation’s unilateral measures undermines its credibility

Occupied Al- Quds, ( ST)- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has affirmed that the failure of the international community to compel the Israeli occupation authorities to stop all of its illegal unilateral measures questions the credibility of the international positions and criticisms against those measures, and empties the global system of any legal and humanitarian content.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday, according to Wafa News Agency, that the silence of the international community over the violations and crimes of the occupation authorities and over the occupation’s disregard for international law and the principles of international legitimacy resolutions are very dangerous.

The Ministry warned of the repercussions of international double standards as this provides the cover and time required for the occupation to complete the gradual annexation of the West Bank, thereby undermining the opportunity to establish a Palestinian state on the line of June 4, 1976.

The Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the incessant violations of the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinians, which escalate on a daily basis, including raids and detentions seizure of more Palestinian lands and the demolition of Palestinian homes.

The Ministry called on the international community to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy regarding the Palestinian issue, which leads to ending the occupation of land of the State of Palestine and putting an end to the continuous injustice practiced by the occupation on the Palestinian people.
