Palestinian Foreign Ministry demands the opening of all crossings to bring aid into Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Israeli occupation authorities to open all crossings to bring aid into Gaza Strip.
Wafa News Agency reported that, the Ministry condemned the occupation government’s prevention of the entry of aid, especially into the northern Gaza Strip.
This aims to perpetuate the occupation, administrative separation between the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the displacement of Palestinians.
Since the occupation began its aggression against Gaza Strip on the seventh of last October, it has imposed a strict siege on Gaza Strip and prevented the entry of aid into it, which has exacerbated the humanitarian catastrophe that has reached the point of famine today, especially in the northern areas, while the aid that reaches the south of the Gaza Strip is not sufficient for the needs of the Palestinians, especially in Rafah that is considered the last refuge for the displaced, and which hosts more than 1.3 million Palestinians.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that more than 700,000 Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip are subjected to the worst forms of genocide, as the Israeli occupation escalates bombing and destruction and deepens famine, pushing them to flee towards the center and south of Strip to face the same fate.

The Ministry also warned in a statement today, reported by Wafa News Agency, that the occupation is exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe and preventing the entry of aid, especially into the northern Gaza Strip, with the aim of perpetuating its occupation of the Gaza Strip and separating it from the West Bank to prevent the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

17 children and an elderly man were martyred during the past few days in northern Gaza Strip as a result of malnutrition and dehydration. Palestinians and UN institutions warn that the famine is deepening and will claim the lives of thousands of Palestinians if the aggression is not stopped and humanitarian and medical aid is not brought immediately into Gaza Strip.
