Palestinian Foreign Ministry demands the entry of aid into Gaza Strip

Occupied Al_Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed the need to open all crossings and bring aid into the Gaza Strip, and the need to link relief campaigns to a real international effort that leads to an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa News Agency, the Foreign Ministry called on the UN Security Council to be bold enough to take a binding UN resolution to stop the aggression. It warned of the seriousness of the Israeli threat to invade Rafah, due to its catastrophic dangers to the lives of about 1.5 million Palestinians who are crammed by the occupation into a small geographical area, in light of the brutal bombing and continuous displacement in a tight circle of death due to the absence of any safe place in Gaza Strip.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that the refusal of “Israel” as an occupying power to implement the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding protecting the Palestinians and securing their basic humanitarian needs requires the Security Council to confront and resolve it with the force of international law.
