Palestinian Foreign Ministry demands immediate implementation of the Security Council resolution to ceasefire in Gaza

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s rejection of the resolution adopted by the Security Council for a ceasefire in the  Gaza Strip during the month of Ramadan reveals its malicious goals aimed at destroying Gaza Strip.

The Ministry demanded the immediate implementation of the resolution and binding mechanisms of action.

The Foreign Ministry explained in a statement today, reported by Wafa News Agency, that there is no meaning to the Israeli attack on the resolution other than the occupation government’s insistence on military force to complete the destruction of Gaza Strip and kill all forms of human life in it.

The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the Security Council resolution constitutes a valid basis for reaching a permanent ceasefire, which is binding and should be implemented. It warned against the consequences of any explanations or proposing any mechanisms with the aim of emptying it of its content.
