Palestinian Foreign Ministry demands an immediate halt of the Israeli aggression on Palestinian territories
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli continuous aggression on the Palestinian people, land, properties and sanctities, demanding an immediate halt of this aggression.
In a statement on Saturday marking the 73rd anniversary of Nakba, the ministry said that “the Nakba which has befallen the Palestinian people continues to the present day as the Israeli occupation keeps committing savage crimes, including killing, displacement, ethnic cleansing and racism against the Palestinians in a bid to complete its colonialist schemes and undermine any chance for establishing a viable Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital.
The Palestinian foreign ministry reiterated that “the occupation carries on its aggression on the Palestinian people in Al-Quds and the rest of the West Bank cities and towns and in the besieged Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of dozens of Palestinians and wounding hundreds others. However, these crimes won’t weaken the determination of the steadfast Palestinian people to defend their legitimate rights.”
The ministry called on the international community to assume its legal and ethical responsibility towards ending the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people, stopping the Israeli occupation’s crimes and holding it accountable for these crimes.
