Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns the occupation’s restriction of the work of Norwegian diplomats
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to restrict the work of Norwegian diplomats in the occupied Palestinian territories, noting that this restriction constitutes a direct threat to all countries to influence their fair positions towards the occupation’s violations against the Palestinian people.
The ministry expressed in a statement reported by Wafa News Agency its rejection of the occupation’s attempts to find flimsy arguments and pretexts to pressure countries and international institutions that help the Palestinian people. The foreign ministry called for diplomatic and legal pressure on the occupying authority to stop its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously warned that there would be consequences for the decision to restrict the work of its diplomats in the occupied Palestinian territories, describing restriction as an extremist act that fundamentally affects the ability to help the Palestinians.
