Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns the occupation’s decision to return settlers to the “Homesh” settlement
Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s decision to return settlers to the “Homesh” settlement in the northern West Bank is a dangerous escalation. It stressed that settlement is a crime according to international law.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned all settlement operations, including the settlers’ establishment of new settlement units in the “Homesh” settlement. It said that this measure and the settlers’ escalation of their attacks on the Palestinians, the construction of settlement roads and the seizure of lands, fall within the framework of Gradually implementing plans to annex the West Bank by the occupation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that it will continue working with the International Criminal Court to stop the crimes of the occupation and hold the perpetrators accountable.
Last March, the occupation authorities issued a decision to return the settlers to the “Homesh, Kadim, Ghaneem and Sanur” settlements in the West Bank, which they had evacuated in 2005.
