Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on Security Council to stop double standard policy

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the Security Council to stop the policy of double standards, to depart from the traditional ineffective stereotype in dealing with the Palestinian issue and to take the measures imposed by international law and the Charter of the United Nations to compel the Israeli occupation authorities to stop their crimes against the Palestinians and their occupation of their lands.

In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry stressed that the silence of the international community and countries that advocate human rights principles and claim rejection of occupation and settlements, and the double international standards in dealing with peoples’ issues encourage the occupation to persist in committing more crimes and violations.

The Foreign Ministry condemned the heinous field execution committed by the Israeli occupation forces today against the 17-year-old boy Uday Salah in the village of Kafrdan, west of Jenin, noting that this crime is a direct result of the brutal incursions carried out by the occupation forces daily against Palestinian towns, villages, camps and cities.
