Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on international community to stop settlement operations

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy and to compel the Israeli occupation to stop settlement operations.

In a statement on Wednesday, reported by Wafa News Agency, the Foreign Ministry said that all forms of settlement are null and illegal and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy and its resolutions.

The ministry warned that expanding the occupation of settlements and looting more Palestinian lands is extremely dangerous because it undermines any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital. .

The Foreign Ministry condemned the occupation’s plans to expand several settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank and the escalation of settlers’ attacks on Palestinians, their land and property. The most recent of these attacks was the settlers’ fencing of areas of Palestinian lands in the vicinity of a settlement established in the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and the settlers ‘uprooting of 450 olive trees from the Ramallah plain.
