Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on ICC to speed up investigation into Israeli crimes against the Palestinians

 The Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday renewed its call on the the International Criminal Court to launch a full investigation into the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people and to hold the occupation entity accountable for these criminal acts.

In a statement reported by WAFA news agency, the ministry condemned the crime perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces on Sunday in the south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem and that led to the martyrdom of a Palestinian youth called Mohammad Hussein Amro. The occupation forces opened fire at the young man and left him bleeding to death without allowing any medical team to reach him.

 The Foreign Ministry called on international human rights bodies and humanitarian organizations to document the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians and refer them to the International Criminal Court, in order to hold the Israeli war criminals accountable.

It warned of the consequences of dealing with these crimes only as figures, without taking into consideration the suffering caused to the Palestinian families as a result of losing their loved ones.
